השראה

עבר שבוע, והיום רציתי להביא מקור השראה לעבודה, אולי אף לחיים.

עבודתו של פול פרילינגר, המצורפת כאן, היא אולי קצת ארוכה בשביל קטע יו-טיוב, אבל שווה כל רגע.

האמן מספר על חייו באנימציה דוקומנטרית מדהימה, דרך הכלבים שהיו לו בחיים. השיעורים שלימדו אותו הכלבים בנקודות שונות בחיים מובאות ברגישות יפהפיה ותסריט גאוני. לראשונה צפיתי בקטע הזה במסגרת הלימודים שנה שעברה, וניסיתי להשיג עותק של הסרט באופנים מגוונים. עוד לא ניסיתי את אי-ביי אמנם, אבל אני יכולה להעיד שאי אפשר להשיג אותו באמזון או בכל אמצעי קונבנציונלי אחר. גילו של הסרט קרוב לעשור, וכנראה שהודפס במהדורה מוגבלת למדי.

אבל בשבילי, ובשביל כל המאחרים לצפות ביצירה הזאת, היא הועלתה ליו-טיוב באורכה המלא ובאיכות מרשימה למדי. ככה נוכל להנות מהעבודה המדהימה הזאת באופן חופשי ונגיש.

It has been a week, and today I wanted to talk about inspiration for work, and maybe even for life

Paul Fierlingers work, which is embedded here, is maybe a bit long for a youtube video, but worth every second of it.

The artist here serves his life story in an amazing animated documentary, through the dogs he had. The lessons the dogs teach him in different points of his life are presented with a special sensitivity and a beautiful script. I first watched this film as a part of my studies, and ever since I wanted to have a copy. Even though I didn't reach ebay yet, I tried all the conventional channels (amazon and others), and failed to get a satisfactory result. The film is almost ten years old now, and was probably released in small numbers to begin with.

For me, and all other people who are "late" to watch this peace, it was uploaded to youtube in full length and quite fine quality. This way we can enjoy this peace freely and easily.
