סרט משעשע מאוד, שפרט להיותו מדהים, ניתן להבחין בו בשני דברים מאוד ייחודיים:
הדבר הראשון הוא השימוש הלא שגרתי במה שבתרבות המערבית מזוהה עם הפסקול של "הסנדק".
הדבר השני הוא החופש לערבב טכניקות וצורות חומריות שונות באותו סרט. פה ארחיב ואומר שאנו, הצופים, רגילים לראות סרטים שהשפה שלהם היא אחידה. אחידות השפה הזאת יוצרת עולם שלם וסגור שקל לנו יותר להתחבר אליו. הסיבה להרס חוקיות העולם הזה צריכה להיות חשובה, כלומר לתרום להעברת הסיפור. זה לא הסרט היחיד שבו נעזר הבמאי במספר שפות להפריד בין עולם פנימי של דמות לבין עולמה החיצוני, אבל זה הסרט הראשון (והאחרון) שראיתי שבו משתמשים בשפות שונות לחלוטין בשביל לאפיין דמות השונה מסביבתה.

This funny picture, besides being totally awesome, has two interesting things about it:
The first thing is the unusual usage of what is identified in the western culture with "The Godfather" soundtrack.
The second thing is the freedom to mix different looks and textures in the same picture. Here I would like to expand this topic, and say that we as viewers are used to films where the style is uniform throughout the picture. This uniform creates a fully constructed world which is much easier to bind to. The reason to destroy this set or rules which dictates this new complete world must be important, contributing to the story. This is not the only picture where the director uses several styles to distinguish between the characters different worlds, but it is the first (and the last) film I have seen which uses such a difference to characterize and enhance the characters difference from the surrounding world.

"פילם פילם פילם" - פיודור חיטרוק 1973
סביר להניח שחיטרוק יחזור לבלוג הזה עוד כמה פעמים. הסיפורים שהוא בוחר לספר מכילים רבדים שמדברים לכל גיל, ברמות שונות של התייחסות ביקורתית. הסיטואציות הקומיות שנוצרות אצלו מגיעות ממקומות לפעמים מרירים מעט.
בסרט הזה הוא בוחר לדבר על העשייה הקולנועית. כמה השתנה היום מאז?
